Privacy Policy

Information Monaru stores

All expense data you enter into Monaru (amounts, categories, timestamps) is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone. We have no access to it.

What Monaru does NOT do

• Connect to your bank account
• Read your SMS messages
• Automatically import transactions
• Sync data to any cloud or server
• Require an account to use the app
• Track your behavior inside the app
• Use third-party ad networks
• Sell or share personal data

Website email signup

If you submit your email through the "Notify Me" form on monaru.in, we use it only to send you Monaru launch updates and early access information. It may be processed by service providers required to deliver those emails.

Third-party services

The monaru.in website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Like most websites, our hosting provider may generate basic server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) required to keep the site running securely. Email addresses submitted through the website may be processed by our email provider to deliver launch notifications.

The current Monaru app does not include analytics, ad SDKs, or cloud data sync services.

Data retention

Your expense data lives on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. We don't have a copy.

Email addresses submitted through the website are retained until you request removal or until they are no longer needed for launch communications.

Your choices

• Removing the app will generally remove locally stored Monaru data from your device
• You can request deletion of your submitted email address by contacting us
• You do not need to provide personal information to use the Monaru app
